Dr. Héctor E. López Sierra, director of the Doctorate in Education and the Doctorate in Projects from the International Iberoamerican University (UNINI PR), has recently published an article in the specialized journal Asia-Pacific Journal of Oncology Nursing.
The article, “Cultural Diversity and Spiritual/Religious Health Care of Patients with Cancer at the Dominican Republic”, is part of a research project led by Dr. Héctor E. López which aim is describe the psychospiritual citizens to the oncological sick during their terminal phase in the Spanish-speaking Antillean Caribbean.
The article describes nursing care in palliative citizens from the point of view of cultural diversity and focuses its area of study in the Dominican Republic.
This internationally disseminated academic journal is published three times a year and aims to contribute in the improvement of the professional practice in nursing within the oncological field.
