The International Iberoamerican University and the Municipality of Barceloneta have joined efforts to create the project: "La Universidad en tu Alcaldía" (The University in your City Hall).
The agreements between the International Iberoamerican University, the Iberoamerican University Foundation and the Municipality of Barceloneta have the objective of offering student services utilizing technology for employees and general public.
The International Iberoamerican University is the first on-line university authorized by the Puerto Rico Council on Higher Education in 2010 and offers master programs in:
- Sports
- Strategic Management
- Projects
- Formation of Professors of Spanish and/or English as a Foreign Language
- Environment
With this project the Municipality of Barceloneta places itself at the forefront of cutting-edge communication and information technologies, where students are able to communicate with the various departments of the University (Admissions, Registration and Treasury).
